Suddenly, I've come into confusion in use of a appropriate tense.
For example, is this right?; When my parents go out, I turned on the computer and played a game.
I want to say my past habit, but using a past verb in when cluase in this situation sounds weird i suppose, but (a past verb)in dependant clause above is OK. Is it?
(I played a computer game when my parents went out) <= This sounds only one time situation, doesn't it ?
Top answer
When my parents went out, I used to turn on the computer and play games.
