Tense of Today?

Hi, I only remember that in school teacher said we used past tense for yesterday, present tense for today and future tense for tomorrow.

How about if I want to tell someone that I've done something today?

Which one is better?

1. I've bought a new watch today.

2. I bought a new watch today

3. I buy a new watch today

(Note the watch has already been paid and taken away)

Hi, Kenny, Only #1 and #2 are correct, and they are more or less interchangeable. One isn't better than the other, but the latter is by far more common, at least in the US.
