Tense it's my problem

hi? it's my first post. I had been studying english 5years but I still not well in tenses  I really want to be good in tenses but it's not well in doin g exercises but my vocabulary is good how I fullfill my knowledge of english tenses.

hi. I think you are really working hard . like 5 years is a long time but unfortunately your hardworking is not on the right direction. While learning Tenses it is very important to understand the usage of each tense. I Think you are not doing that instead you may be paying more attention to the Structures like Affirmative ,Negative like that. or perhaps you may be trying to understand the tenses in your own mother tongue. Students usually make a kind of sign of each English Tense in their own mother tongue and try to learn them using their mother tongue which is not quite helpful. The reason is that your mother tongue is quite different from English. So please remember the best way to learn Tenses or any thing in English Grammar is to learn :-
Step number 1:
Usage of a Tense.
e.g. Usage of Present Continuous Tense:
1. Actions going on at the time of speaking. e.g. You are reading my message.
2. For Future. (I am not going to the party next week)
3. Temporary habitual actions. (I am reading Harry Potter nowadays)
These the are the uses of Present Continuous tense.

Step number 2:
Structure of a tense
e.g. Affirmative structure of Present Continuous Tense

Subject + is / am / are + first form of a verb+ ing + object.
Step number 3:

Practise what you have learnt about that particular tense. Until you practicse, you are never gonna speak properly.
