tense in reported speech??

All cases below are reported speech

Question 1: Which one is correct??

(Universal / Scientific truth)

A. When I was in school , I was taught that the Sun always rises from the East which will not change
B. When I was in school, I was taught that the Sun always rose from the East which would not change

Question 2: Which one is correct?

(General truth )

A. My teacher told us that working hard is the key to success
B. My teacher told us that working hard was the key to success

Question 3: Which one is correct?

( We don't know if it's true or it's hard to know if it's true)

A.My teacher told me that newer technology is usually less stable
B.My teacher told me that newer technology was usually less stable

I strongly prefer "A'. The sun still rises in the east. (no need to capitalize either "sun" or "east", by the way).

For your first question 'the sun raises in the east' is enough. As it is the truth for ever.
