0 GG already commented but as far as being “have to be” 00 00 as you said, I would loosely say “no”. 00 00 It would be absolutely ok to say either “I have sent you many letters in the past 3 months but 00 I didn’t hear / 00 haven’t heard 00 00 00 a word from you at all ”. 00 00 Of course, 00 00 Keeping the context in parallel is preferred but it’s not wrong
