Ex A. I went to a movie theater which was located in Manhattan.

Ex B. I went to a movie theater which is located in Manhattan.

Q. If the movie theater is still located in Manhattan, we should keep it in present tense, right?

Yes, especially if it happened just a few days ago.

If it's been years since you went to the theater and you're not even sure if it's there anymore, then the first one would be more appropriate.

At least that's how I see it.
