Tense concordance in made-up dialogue

Hi. Please help. Are the tenses correct in this made-up dialogue correct? Let's say there is a young man and today is a holiday. He gets up late and in addition to that he hasn't done anything constructive all day. He has mostly been watching TV all day. Then his mother comes in the late afternoon after work.

I think it would be better if Mom asked "What have you done all day?" instead of "What did you all day?" to start off the conversation. Anyway, as they are, are the tenses correct? Thank you in advance.

Mom: What did you do all day? The room is a mess and I don't see you have done anything constructive.
Son: Mom, I have done something. I fed the dogs.

How about this? Are the tenses correct?

Mom: What did you do all day?
Son: Mom, I have done something. I fed the dogs.
