Tense and paragraph help?

I'm supposed to write a paragraph about what I would do when a girl whom I like confronts me with ecstasy. Tenses kind of confuse me when I start to write in paragraphs since I have to keep it constant.

In the situation that I am pressured to take ecstasy with a girl whom I am attracted to, I would tell the girl to throw them away since MDMA has several health risks attached to it. First of all, Ecstasy causes excessive perspiration, dehydration and an increase of temperature in a person's body which can actually kill a person. Some people do forget to hydrate themselves with water and when that happens they start to feel burning pain on the inside which can lead to death from dehydration. I wouldn't want to take the gamble of death from dehydration at an early age. Secondly, taking MDMA can also cause long term brain damage since they elevate the amount of seratonin and dopamine in the brain. The brain can take permanent damage from the overdose of the amount of neurotransmitters stimulated when taking ecstasy which puts my career and life at risk. Thirdly, the drug causes feelings of euphoria and urges of sex which can lead to unprotected sex and ultimately STD's. Getting laid and contracting STD's from a girl isn't in my best interest of a good future nor of my parents interest. Lastly, the dangers of an overdose of ecstasy can literally range from dilutional hyponatremia to cardiac arrests and strokes. This means that there are higher chances that I could die from a wide variety of symptoms of an overdose which may or may not be recognized by party people. In conclusion, instead of going with the flow with the girl I would lecture her about the risks of Ecstasy and try to pick her up without the need of drugs.
