tense

1- He has just left here.
2- He just left, so he is not here.

Does #2 sound okay? If it does, is there any difference in meaning between #1 and #2? Because my grammar book says that #1 implies 'he is not here'. Thank you.

That's right. And so does #2.

1- He has just left here. Here is not necessary because the verb "leave" already has the meaning of "this location."
2- He just left...

In both #1 and #2, we know that the person is not present.
They have the same meaning.
