Tense

Hi,

I'm trying to make an example for each of the following tenses. Could someone take a look and check if there are any errors?

<present tense>

ex) I take them to school every day.

<past tense>

ex) I took them to school yesterday.

<future tense>

ex) He will take them to school tomorrow.

<present perfect tense>

ex) He has just taken them to school.

<past perfect tense>

ex) He had already taken them to school when I got there.

<future perfect tense>

ex) He will have taken them to school by 8:00 tomorrow.

<present progressive tense>

ex) He is taking them to school.

<past progressive tense>

ex) He was taking them to school when I called him

<future progressive tense>

ex) He will be taking them to school at 7:30 tomorrow morning.

<present perfect progressive tense>

ex) He has been taking them to school since last year.

<past perfect progressive tense>

ex) had been taking: Could you give me a complete example?

<future perfect progressive tense>

ex) will have been taking: I would also appreciate an example on this one, too.

The others are fine. Here are my comments:

<future tense>
ex) He will take them to school tomorrow. /He is going to take them to school tomorrow.-- Note that there is no single 'future tense' and that the 'will'-future is not the most common one at all. You should properly introduce at least the 'be going to' future at this same time.

I will have been taking them to school for 5 years by next August..
