Sir,

I am loving my mummy.

Please provide me a sentence in which, "loving" has been used in continuous tense.

Top answer

I love my mummy. McDonalds are using the slogan 'I'm lovin' it' in their current advertising campaign; whether this refers to their burgers or life itself I'm not too sure. 'I am loving' is not used as often as 'I love' and I think it would only be used in contexts where the emotion you feel lasts for that fleeting moment and is more a great delight in something, not a continual genuine love.
