Hi,

1) Could ‘see out’ be used in the following sentence?

“She was in over her head, but I was hoping that she’d at least see out the last game.”

2)”She picked her spot hitting some great shots.” Does it have something to do with the player’s timing?

3) “She closed out to love in the first game.” Does it mean that her opponent didn’t score a single point in that game?

4)”The umpire was acting as if or like her shot was wide of the mark, even though it just brushed past the line.”

I know that both ‘like’ and ‘as if’ are possible, but could you tell me which one you prefer?

Thank you so much. Emotion: smile
