Can anyone tell me which one is better in everyday English

I saw a man injured

These are both okay, but are used in different situations, for example: There was a big explosion. When the smoke cleared away I saw a man was injured. ) I saw a man injured in the scuffle at the bar.

These are both okay, but are used in different situations, for example:


There was a big explosion. When the smoke cleared away I saw a man was injured. ("I saw a man injured" is not quite right here.)


I saw a man injured in the scuffle at the bar. ("I saw a man was injured" is ungrammatical here.)

I saw an injured man. (if he was already injured)

Or

I saw a man getting injured. (if you witnessed him getting injured)
