Hi "This" must refer back to something the writer has already said - it shows that an explanation has continued from one sentence to the next ... - I always wear a car seat belt - This is because an accident can take months to recover from "them" just refers back to the cyanobacteria (it is a straightforward plural pronoun) "for" is used here as a preposition to tell us the use or purpose of something ... - I wear the car seat belt for safety - The cyanobacteria are good for producing solar energy Hope this helps Dave

In original: making them attractive microorganisms for a renewable production of H2 from solar energy and water, means the [making them attractive microganisms] as part of they do as a help to a renewable production of H2 from solar energy and water

Hi,

Can you tell me your e-mail?

So I send you a methodology with graphical notation which will revolutionize

Hi

I don't have an email that I use with EF

My feeling is that there is only so far you can go with methodology. It is good to know grammar but, first, it can be irregular anyway and, second, it does change over time, with people inventing new constructions and new idioms

There are others who are better at discussing methodology than I (or better than me!)
