The Question is as follows;

Imagine you are going to teach the vocabulary of kitchen items to a pre-intermediate class of young adults. The classroom has minimal furniture, rows of desks fixed to the floor and a blackboard. All students have pens and paper. There are no textbooks or technical equipment available. The only materials you can use are those which you and your students own or which you have created with your own hands. Printers or photocopiers are not avaiable. Plan a 45 minute lesson.

Please include the following information:

Target language (list the words you will teach)
Assumed knowledge (list vocabulary/structures you expect your students to know)
Anticipated problems
Solutions
Preparations and aids
A step-by-step plan of the entire lesson including the timing of each stage.
Note: This will be a vocabulary lesson as you will be teaching a set of words.

Sit at the back of the class and ask one of the students if they would like some tea.

Walk up to your desk and pretend to make a cup of tea. Then pass them the cup. 'There is your cup'.

Then hold up the cup and say 'cup'. Drill the word cup two or three times. then ask another student would they like a glass of water. Pour them some imaginary water into the glass.

At this stage the students will be watching you and intrigued.

then draw a picture on the board. Let the students stand up and walk around to see the pictures then ask them what is it.

In groups of 4 have each student draw 5 pictures. Assign each student a colour.
After each student has drawn their 5 pictures they must swap with one person in their group and label the pictures.

Presentation:T-S T-S 10 minutes

Group the pictures into three groups
(Divide the board into three columns)

What you cook with
What you use to store or keep food.

Have the students draw a flash card and walk up to the board. They must stick the cards in the correct columns.

Controlled Practice: S-S 5minutes
(Controlled speaking practice)

This game is called go to the kitchen

Ask the students to write the 20 kitchen items on a pieces of paper.
The students must get into pairs (each student has the same 20 items

Each student hold 5 'cards'

Student one> do you have a knife
Student two> no, go to the kitchen OR yes (and they pass it over)

Plenary:

Walk around and check pronunciation

Do a role play. For example, the students are pretending to cook and need various items/ingredients or act out eating a meal in a restaurant.

Vocabulary to be taught:
Spoon, Knife, Fork, Plate, Cup, Bowl, Glass
Table Chairs Sink Fridge Cooker Cupboard
Pot ,Frying Pan ,Dish ,Wooden spoon ,Chopping knife
Teapot Kettle

I believe if this lesson plan was followed it would teach the students the words that I have selected in a fun and engaging manner. It will keep the atmosphere upbeat and enjoyable, stimulating their minds. Perhaps it would be especially good for the students that learn kinaesthetically and visually and offers variety to the every day routine and the teacher isn't always stood at the front lecturing.

I submitted it and this was the feedback I received;

Comment: I am afraid you have still not answered this question correctly. In the instructions to the task it asks you to ‘Please include the following information:’
Target language (list the words you will teach)
Who’s calling, please?
• Assumed knowledge (list vocabulary/structures you expect your students to know)
• Anticipated problems
• Solutions
• Preparations and aids

Anyone that could help me out with suggestions or edits I would really appreciate it! Thanks

First of all, I think your lesson is very great. However, you should consider about your students (pre-intermediate class of young adults at ages 14 to 21). These words you want to teach are very simple so I am not sure if they can attract your students. Here are some of my suggestions:
- Target language: You should choose some difficult words of a specific topic.
- Assumed knowledg
