Tefl end of course assignment related question

I'm really curious to understand how you changed the text when it was a listening exersise. I can see how some of these sentences maybe difficult/usual for even an b2-c1 class. Hoe did this help??? (I'm just starting this so all of it dosen't seem clear to me just yet)
