Tefl courses in oxford

I notice that i-to-i who do TEFL courses have a course next weekend in oxford http://www.weekendtefl.co.uk/viewPages.php?pageid=84 but what's the difference between their course and the celta courses etc? Are they worth doing, all I am looking for is an introductory course that will give me some work in south east asia. Any advice?

pageid=84 but what's the difference ... I am looking for is an introductory course that will give me some work in south east asia. [/nq] Don't do anything that doesn't give you a recognised qualification - ie CELTA of Trinity Cert.

  • Weekend courses are a waste of time.
  • One day you'll have to actually face a class for maybe 20 hours a week -you're not going to learn anything useful in 48 hours training.
