I would like to see your efforts at creating concept questions first.

Imagine you are teaching the verb "to rent". What concept check questions would you use to check student understanding of the word?
I have answered this question wrong twice. Could you please check my answers before I try again. They are not looking for a yes or no answer.
What does rent mean to you?
Do you buy DVD's or do you rent them?
Do you give the DVD's back/return or do yo

I suggest that you start with a sentence of context, so that you have some sort of structure to work with:

Bob rented 3 DVDs from MovieMasters last night.

Did Bob buy some DVDs or did he borrow them?
Did he have to pay any money or were they free?

What will Bob do after he watches the DVDs?
What else do people often rent?
Would you rather rent a video
