Describing a person's physical appearance. Parts of the body, colours and clothing (please don’t focus solely on body parts etc but consider physical characteristics etc).

Are you asking for games that help teach parts of the body, colours, and clothing?

What's a 'warmer'? Is that like an icebreaker (ie. opening activity to relax the atmosphere)?

Since you have not written down anything, it seems you want others to do the work in your place. Careful. This also shows that you are not confident. Don't worry! Take a look at the big picture. And think about starting 'backwards':

Choose an activity. Ex: shopping for a friend. The person must buy some clothes for a friend who is not there. s/he must describe the friend to the salesperson. INFO NEEDED: Vocab: clothes, body, adj. GRAMMAR NEEDED: simple present (BE, HAVE, LIKE, WEAR); interrogatives (for the salesperson)

Once you know what you want the students to do, what do they need to be able to say? Think of Vocab, Grammar, maybe some set expressions for a particular social situation.

Look at the headings you must fill out. Apply the word to your scenario. EX/

Objective. Ask yourself "what do I wnat them to be able to do?" Answer your questions.

Assumed knowledge: what do they already know? Will knowledge in their own language help at all (ex: they do konw it's important to be polite, sometimes it's necessary to call someone's attention...)

Solutions: HOW will you fill in the gaps?

Also, it's easier to learn when info is broken up. What will you do to encourage vocabulary learning so that they have the words they need for the situation? ex: play Simon Says touch your.... for the body parts. Look in magazines and you'll see that on the fashion pages the item of clothing is named. So maybe have the students 'set up' the clothing store. You can do this 'virtually' by drawing up a floor plan on the blackboard.

Now, go for it! PS Everything I said here goes WAY beyond a 45 min class, but you get the picture. When I do a 'shopping' session with my students, it takes at least three class sessions. Time to memorize the vocab before they can do their scenario with a modicum of ease.

I just needed advice that was all, not all the answers from anyone.

i will let you know the results of what i have done when i recieve it back and post it on for others who are in need of help.

Thank you for your advice i do appreciate it and i am not some one who is looking for others to do my work for me....i am doing an online course and just needed extra support.

Ps: thank you for the advice i did not want to seem ungreatful....i just dont want you thinking i have others do my work for me. I am taking this course work very seriously as i will start teaching next week!
