Teenage marriages

Hi,

A dictionary says --Teen marriages are more likely to end in divorce.

When you use "more likely to," don't you need "THAN"?

For example, Teen marriages are more likely to end in divorse THAN later marriages?

Or is this simply assumed to be the case?

Thanks.
