Technology Aid

The table below illustrates how much money donated to technology of developing countries by charities in the US, EU, and other countries over the period between 2006 and 2010.

According to the table, we can see that total aid increased during this period. The aid of US charities was higher than the contribution form other countries.

There was a slightly increase in total support from 15.7 billion dollars in 2006 to 16.8 billion dollars in 2007. However, total amount of money dramatically rose in 2008, and up to 30 billion dollars in 2010. The donation from US covered a large proportion of total aid through the years in the table. The number was 9.7 billion dollars and 22.7 billion dollars in 2006 and 2010 respectively.

Contributions from EU and other countries also increased. In 2006, the aid was 3.3 billion dollars in EU and 2.7 billion dollars in other countries. The figures gradually grew and attained 3.8 billion dollars in EU and 3.1 billion dollars in remaining countries in 2008. After a trivial decrease in 2009, donations from EU went up 4 billion dollars at the end of the period. The aid from other countries also reach to 3.3 billion dollars in this year.

In conclusion, the aid which donated to technology of poor countries increased during the period listed in the table. The money from US was highest among the mentioned areas.
