Technicalwise ?

Hi,

Is it correct to say technicalwise to mean from a technical point of view?

If so, I found that wise can be preceded by a noun like: costwise (from a cost point of view) and my question is : which one is correct : mentality-wise or mental-wise ?

Plz give elaborate explanations

Thanks for your help

  • For formal or written English, however, it is wise to avoid the formation except for those already listed in a reputable dictionary, like 'clockwise' and 'otherwise'.
  • Since '-wise' means 'in the way/manner of', it should take only nouns as roots.
