Technical phrase

Hi,

Here i have some words I don't know if i use them correctly.

for example, I wonder what the room/space is called where it is located in the ceiling of a performing stage or stadium or a dome? I am not talking about the VIP room or lounge that is sometimes available in these venues.

I remember there is a scene in the movie Phantom of opera where the main character hide above the stage. Is there a name for that as well?

Also, out of curiosity, in baseball stadium, especially in Fenway Park, where they still use traditional scoreboard, what is the room called where it is behind the scoreboard so people can stay there and keep the score.

Thanks,

Above the stage is the 'grid'. It is an open-slatted work area from which scenery pieces, backdrops and Peter Pan can be flown. I cannot answer your other questions.
