Technical as a noun?

I heard a man use technical as a noun in a tv show.
Here is the dialogue:
-Okay, we first noticed the breach at 2:07 A.M. Eastern Standard on Friday night.
- You mean, Saturday?
- Sorry, yes, technically, Saturday morning.
-Yeah, okay, Angela, that's what we're here for. The technicals.

Does 'technical' in this context mean 'technical detail'? Is it common? It's just I couldn't find the use of this word as a noun in my dictionaries.

Thank you.
