which one is correct?

Question:

Was there only one team that won?
Did that team have more than one name?

My opinion is rather different from Phil's.

I agree that the first is incorrect. We cannot have one name of several teams.
The second seems fine to me. the trophy has the names of the winning teams engraved on it. If the trophy is awarded annually, there may be quite a few names on it.
The third also seems fine. This is a one-off trophy, engraved with the name of the winning team.
