Team is determined not to get beaten again?

Can I rewrite the same sentence this way with out losing its actual meaning 'Team is determined not to be beaten again'. If not please let me know the reason.

Regards,

Yes, but you need "The team" in both sentences, unless "Team" is the name of the group.
