Teaching Large Classes

Question

Write a question for discussion that you would ask your class (write it word for word as you would ask it, rather than state the general topic). Think of a subject which can be discussed by students of both higher and lower levels and which can be interesting to many people. How would you organise the discussion? How would you group the students?

Please help I have failed two attempts already

This was my answer but my tutor didn't like it. Please read the comment below and let me know how can I make changes to submit it. Thank you in advance.

As a teacher I would choose food to be the topic of my conversation. I would take 5-10 minutes from the previous class to divide the students into a group of six. I would ask each group to choose a type of food, whether it is from their country or any other country they choose, prepare a presentation and maybe bring some to taste the next lesson with them.
The next day, the day of the intended class, I would ask each group to talk about the food they prepared; I would ask each group questions about: Who prepared the dish? How was it prepared? How long did it take to prepare it? Why did they choose this dish? I would introduce vegetables, fruits, cooking utensils, nationalities such as French, Italian, Japanese...etc.
Even though the group consists of six people I would address various individuals in the group every time I ask a question to make sure, all students have participated in the preparation of the assignment and to introduce and practice new vocabulary with them.
I am Palestinian, and the Palestinian cuisine is rich with many dishes. Therefore, I would also prepare a dish and serve it so my students.
Comment: Good idea though as you ask one person in one group, the others might not be talking. This is difficult to ask and monitor at the same time here. As well, you don't say how you form the groups in terms of level. So I'd like you to give this another go and explain how you form groups and provide an activity where sts are all talking together independently with the need of the teacher to focus on a particular sts. Thanks.

Here's a general comment.
The bold part above means that the first thing you need to come up with is an actual question.
eg You walk into your classroom and you say to your students, "I want to ask you this question."
Now, what do you actually say to them?
