Teaching Idioms..

Hi all, I have received a topic for teaching and am in need of how to do this as i have very limited time to prepare...the idiom i have to teach is: "To have a crack at something"...What methods could i use?

Take a tightly sealed jar or bottle to class and have your students take/have a crack at opening it. Give them a riddle and let them take/have a crack at solving it. Etc.
