Teaching English in Vietnam

Hi,

Recently visited Vietnam and fell in love with it. I start a new job in the UK in mid-September and am interested in coming out to Vietnam for 4 or 5 weeks to teach English.

I have no TEFL qualification or teaching experience but am very good with people and am a fun person. I have a Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering with Management from the University of Edinburgh, UK and am a native speaker of English.

Hoi An is my favourite place in Vietnam and I would like a teaching position in (or near) Hoi An, Da Nang, etc. and ideally would teach adults or university students.

Can anyone help?

Cam on,

Callum.

This is likely to be impossible. Schools in Vietnam (like most countries) want their teachers to be there for the full academic year which begins around September time. I think you need to choose between your job in the UK and getting a TEFL Certificate and going to Vietnam (or elsewhere) to teach.
