Teaching English in France
Hello,
I would like to thank you for this very helpful forum and ask you about my chances to work as an EFL teacher in France. I am a Tunisian teacher of English with a Tunisian CAPES (certificat d’aptitude au professorat de l’enseignement du second degré). I am moving to France to live there. I would like to ask about how difficult fo me to get a teaching job in France. I don't think that my Tunisian CAPES works there so will I need to have TOFEL or CELTA dipolmas to work in private institutions? Is it impossible for me to work in public schools? Another question also is whether working for private institutions is less promising and advantagous than for public ones?
