Teaching English in France

We are two retired educators with language teaching experience, looking to live in France for the year 2010. While we won't need to work, we'd like to know what options there might be for teaching English on a part-time basis. We plan to live in a small town or village and would also be interested in volunteering and private lessons. We'd appreciate hearing of others' experiences or guidance.
