Teachers should not give homework
Please help me to correct them, thanks !!
Good morning Mr Chairman, honourable judges, headmaster, headmistress, teachers, and all my dear friends.
The issues of assigning homework was discussed. In my cepioas, teacher should not give student homework.
Homeworks such as writing some times 5 times, repeating the same as what what is written in the class at home will just make student memorise things but not to put it into application. We are spending most of our time in school and at least we must be free in our home. If teachers give homework, we will be very tired and we wouldn’t be able to concentrate on extra curricular activities, which in turn may affect our physical and mental health.
Homework can also discourage students by knowing that they have a ton of work and then just finding a way to cheat on it, instead of actually doing the homework and learning the material.
Homework also takes away from necessary social time, which is crucial for a child’s mental grow, and social skills. Homework should not be given because it is sometimes used to teach, instead of for review, it can discourage students.
Homework takes time away from the child when they could have have been spending it with their family. If the students have no any homework to do, they can spend more time with their families. It can establish a relationship with their parents.
Lastly, I would like to say: teachers should not give students homework, to let the students grow up healthily and happily.
