Teachers, Please correct my sentences

Lure (noun) : This will be a lure for my son to eat cheese.

Lure (verb) : The stranger lured the little boy by offering him candies.

Have I used them right? Thanks a lot!

I'd like to know the rule which would help me make sentences using verbs and nouns. Please help.
