Teachers must consider their job a vocation rather than a profession.

I agree with this statement. People who study pedagogy do so for many reasons, but the strongest is because one or more teachers who taught us in elementary or high school have marked us and have been an inspiration and example to follow their own path of pedagogy. In my personal experience, I choose to study pedagogy because the teachers who educated me, each one of them motivated me to grow as a student, as a person and as an artist, they always gave me their knowledge, support and advice inside and outside the classroom, even if they didn't have so much time to rest they were always there to help in whatever was necessary, and even if I am now in the University they always motivate me to continue growing to be a great teacher in the future. Having a vocation as a teacher means always having the need to provide knowledge and values to students, help them achieve their dreams and goals, accompany them in the teaching-learning process, but also in their personal growth. Undoubtedly, the work of teachers is one of the most important in the society, they educate future professionals and citizens and have the power to impact in the life of their students, leaving a mark on each them, it's a work that requires patience, creativity, motivation, constant learning, dedication and most importantly a vocation to educate, beyond money, the vocation calls each teacher to deliver all their knowledge outside and inside the classroom.
