Jabberwocky:

Which of the following sentance is correct?

1. Bond was very much perturbed by his friend's jabberwocky.

or

2. Bond was very much perturbed of his friend's jabberwocky.


If both are incorrect, whats the correct version?

I am not sure, but think (1) is correct. It seems to me that this sentence was written (BY YOU) in the passive voice. For example: Active Voice: Shakespeare wrote "Measure for Measure".

I am not sure, but think (1) is correct.

It seems to me that this sentence was written (BY YOU) in the passive voice.

For example:

Active Voice:
Shakespeare wrote "Measure for Measure".

Passive Voice:
"Measure for Measure" was written BY Shakespeare.
