English is taught at our school.

We don't say English is teaching at our school or we teach English at our school.

What I want to say is the following:

The principal of the school or the administration of the school will always say English is taught at our school or We taught English at our school.

For some reason, (you may know the reason) they don't say we teach English at our school.

On the other hand, you and I or a man on th

"We taught English at our school" is perfectly fine, but this form is used to show that it happened in the past.

"English is taught at our school" is again present.
"English was taught at our school" is again past.
These last two are both in the passive voice.
