3. After the storm ended, the calm comes; after - preposition ~~adjective~~; the storm, the calm - noun; come, end - verb

4. ~~The after effects~~ Aftermath/implications of the drugs' abuse are bad; aftermath/implications - noun; drugs - noun (possesive case); bad - short adjective ; are - verb, of - prepostion,

5. The up train is late; up, late - adjective; train - noun; is - verb, up - adjective (the up train - th train comes to large town, city)

6. It weighs about a pound; it, pound - noun; weights - verb; about - preposition

7. He told us all about the battle; he, battle, us - noun, told - verb; about - ~~adjective~~ preposition, all - pronoun

15. I will watch you while you sleep - I, you - noun; will - auxillary verb, watch - verb; sleep - verb, you - noun

'While away' = verb: spend or pass, as with boredom or in a pleasant manner; of time

Just a couple of comments on a few cross-outs. I really don't see any wrong with the sentences that you crossed out.
#4 After effect - is a noun. An effect that follows after the primary action of something.
"he was suffering the aftereffects of the drug"

# 2He still lives in that house - speaker is pointing the house across the way from him.

#11 Fast is a noun. If it is part of the context of #10, it still makes sense.

Hi Umaa,

1) Still- adjective: because still is describing noun waters
deep - adjective: deep is talking something about still waters; not just talking about the word still

2)he - pronoun
that - adjective : Actually such words which determine or limit the noun are called determiners.They can be considered as adjectives. Here when we talk about houses there can be many number of houses, but we are specifically talking about one house(that house)
How come that house together taken as noun!!!

6)It - pronoun: In the sentence we dont know what exactly is 'it': I mean what object it is. But still as it is used instead of some object it is pronoun.
How 'weighs' is verb according to definition of verb

7)he, us - pronoun
Please explain how about becomes adjective.

8)he,me - pronoun
a yard - adjective: talking about how far he is .Means describing something about pronoun
only- adverb: talking about the adjective 'a yard'

9)came off - together is a verb.
suddenly - adverb : how did it came off-- answer is suddenly: so it is saying more about verb FYI:is can also be interjection as it expressing sudden feelings.

11)he - pronoun

12)he - pronoun

13)NO IDEA

14)down , while - adverbs: down is related to verb sit: a while is related to verb rest: FYI:Adverb is something that talks about verb,adjective , another adverb. Here they are not adjectives because they are not describing about a noun

15)sleep - is an action - verb
I, You - pronouns
while - adverb: See how:: sentence says ' I will watch' when will he watch. while you sleep . So it is denoting some time and giving more information about verb watch by giving the time at which they will watch.

16)while away - verb : meaning is to pass time pleasantly
they , their - pronouns
evening - noun.

Overall you seem to have some confusion with pronouns. please correct me in case any.In case of 13th sentence please provide information if you have any.
