Teach classes to

Hello,

I'd like to ask you if it's possible to say:

"He teaches maths (or gives maths classes) to grades 1-3 of elementary school."

Can you help me with it?

Thank you

Hotmale I'd like to ask you if it's possible to say: Yes, you can, but it can be more natural; He teaches math/maths for/in elementary/primary grades 1–3.

Thank you a lot!

Just to make sure that I understand well.

He teaches math(s) for elementary grades 1-3
He teaches math(s) in elementary grades 1-3

Is that right?

Yes, that's how I would write it (but I would use 'math' because I'm American).

I wouldn't usually bother to say 'elementary'.

He teaches math(s) for grades 1-3
He teaches math(s) in grades 1-3

If you have an s at the end of the word, you are probably British. Brits teach maths in/to/for Years 1-3.
