Tea cup down

This is hot tea in a plastic cup, first of all we should never have hot tea in a plastic cup for chemical secretion reasons which creates health problems.

Now the state where it's bottom come down towards because of it's hotness, and it seems like it gets melted and tea will come out and fall on the ground. Or drops. How do I tell this the incident if I see holding someone a cup of tea and I want to say. That it seems like tea will fall in the ground by melting the bottom of cup.

I know I am not clear enough to be understandable, but just ask me where you get stuck, I'll try to explain again.

You can say e.g.:

"Watch out, it looks like the bottom of that cup is melting."
"Watch out, it looks like the bottom of that cup is about to give way."
