Tattoo? Tattoos? A lot of tattoos??

My feeling is that "Tattoo" is uncountable like ''knowledge'' or ''furniture'', and no plural form should appear, but it appears that "Tattoos" is there

So, "a lot of "tattoos? "many" tattoos? "one" tattoos and "two" tattoos??
it all sounds strange to me.

Or could 'tattoo' be either countable or uncountable but carrying different meanings?
