Tasting wines

Hello everyone, I was wondering if you could help me with the following doubt: I have to translate a text about tasting wines into spanish, and I am not sure about the meaning of the following phrase: "Pour a Glass of wine into a suitable wine glass". Is "a glass of wine" a type of measurement?or it only refers to the suitable wine glass?thanx!
