TASK2: Buying things on the Internet, such as books, air tickets and groceries, is becoming more and more popular. Do the advantages of shopping in this way outweigh the disadvantages?

It is a fact that shopping online is becoming more and more popular. People can purchase somethings easily on the Internet like books, air tickets and groceries for instance. This trend will introduce both pros and cons, but I think that the benefits do outweigh the drawbacks.

On the one hand, it is clear that buying things on the Internet will bring about several disadvantages. First of all, because people are unable to touch or to see the products which they want to buy in reality causing that consumers might buy fake things which are illegal and poor quality. As a result, they often feel unhappy and don't use these products at all, it leads to a waste of money. In addition, having many shops sell the same products that causes consumers' confusion. To be specific, buyers might see the same things in several online shops, but the prices for these items can be very different, ranging from reasonable price to pricy. Therefore, they will not know which products they should buy.

On the other hand, I argue that there is a number of advantages for shopping online. Firstly, shopping in this way allows consumers to check and compare prices between these online shops. In simple words, people make easily a decision to buy what they want after comparing prices, quality of products and also shop's credibility through their old buyers' comments and rates. Secondly, buying things on the Internet helps people save a great deal of time. Since citizens nowadays are often so busy with work and study, shopping online is a bests choice which doesn't require them to go to the stores. With a click of mouse, they can buy what they need and the shippers will deliver these products to customers as soon as possible.

In conclusion, although shopping online has still some negative aspects, the benefits are more important.
