The line graph illustrates the total production in forest industry in a European nation in 20 years, starting at 1980.

Overall, it can be clearly seen that there was a considerable increase in the number of pulp, paper and timber produced in a European country from 1980 and 2000. In particular, the amount of timber production was highest compare other products between 1985 and 1995.

In 1985, the number of pulp produced stood at 5 million tones, more than nearly 1 million tone compare to that of timber and paper production. Over the next 10 years, the number of timber produced increased gradually to 6 million tones before reaching the peak at 10 million tones in 1990. In addition, the figures for pulp and paper rose significantly to the same level at around 7 million tones.

Between 1990 and 2000, the amount of timber produced in forest industry underwent a rapid decrease of nearly 3 million tones. In contrast, the figure for pulp climbed quickly to around 7 million tones in 2000. Finally, the amount of paper produced remained unchanged from 1990 to 1995 before jumping slightly to just under 8 million tones.
