The maps illustrate how an industrial area in the east of Norbiton is going to alter from a factory-crowded land to a well connected residential area surrounding a central roundabout, with all the factories removed.
The roundabout now is connected to the east and south via two roads. Three factories surround it from southwest to north. The eastern road leads to a factory in the far east but there are two other factories on either side of this road. The short southern road runs to another road along the south of the area which makes it possible to drive to Norbiton to the west. Opposite this road on the other side of the area runs a river along the north side.
This river is supposed to be bridged over in the middle to be part of the new road from the roundabout to just beyond the river in the farmland where two units of houses will be provided. In the middle of the eastern road will be cut open a side street towards a spacious playground. On each side of the side street and along the eastern road, it is planned to be constructed two units of housing, opposite which is seen to be built two other units adjacently near the proposed medical center to the west. Finally, a smaller road is planned to run from northwest of the roundabout towards another unit of housing. Between this road and the northern road will be constructed two other housing units.
