A glance at the graph reveals that home holders have a significantly higher percentage than a tenant in the interval from 2004 to 2014, but a general trend for homeownership is a downward trend, and the home rent is an upward trend over a 10 year period.
Although the highest percentage for homeowners about 60% in 2004, it decreased to 35% in the year 2014.
On the other hand, the ratio of house tenants moves upward from 20% in 2004 to almost 50 percent in 2014.
Furthermore, from 2005 to 2006 the proportion of tenants remained constant around 24 %, as well as between 2011 and 2012 approximately 41percent.
In addition, we notice that the ratio for homeowners from 2011 to 2012 an immutable roughly 42%.
In conclusion, home buying outperformed renting in the first seven years from 2004 to 2010 and then reversed in the last two years 2013 and 2014 respectively5% and15% in favor of rent.
