TASK 2_ECONOMY OR NATURE?

Hello, can you please take a look at my writing and give me some advice. I am truly grateful to receive any feedback. Thank you very much.

Topic: Any attempts to preserve the natural world will always hinder economic development. The benefits however far outweigh the disadvantages. Do you agree or disagree?

.

There is always a conception that protecting the environment cannot go along with economic growth, that is to say, efforts for nature preservation only hinders the economy. In my perspective, I agree that although it is true that, preserving the natural world may cause some minor damage to the economy, the benefits will much outshine the drawbacks.
On the one hand, efforts to preserve nature may hinder the economy in some ways. People will have to reduce exhaust fumes. Manufacturers have to find other ways to produce things. A large amount of money has to be allocated to environment-related technology, which will increase their products’ price on the market. As a result, fewer people will be willing to buy their products, and they cannot make many profits. In my country, some companies start to make environmentally-friendly products like bamboo dish, paper straw, but their price is notably more expensive than ordinary ones, so most people do not choose these products.
On the other hand, if we destroy nature to gain economical development at all costs, our economy will suffer much greater damages. It is widely acknowledged that the economy cannot be separated from nature. For example, as we struggle too much to cut down the gas emission, the forests can do this far more efficiently without any difficulties. Also thanks to woods, we can make many kinds of drugs to combat many serious illnesses. Moreover, the services provided by animals, such as bees, doing pollination works also benefits us a lot. As woods can hinder some natural phenomena like storms, tornados, and floods, the damage will be minimum, and we can focus more on the economy, rather than fixing the consequences after the disasters, under the protection of nature.
In conclusion, I advocate the attempts to preserve the natural world as its advantage outshines the disadvantages about economical gains.
