Task 2 Writing IELTS - Education

Some people feel that the government should pay the costs of running universities so that a university education will be free for anyone who wants it.

To what extent do you agree or disagree with this opinion?

Some people likely want the government to pay universities' fees for anyone who is going to apply for it. I believe this can have some advantages for certain groups of people. However, paying the costs of running universities will come with the pressure of financial source on the government.

These action can draw some advantages. Many people, nowadays, can't afford universities' fees because families' financial do not allow them to do so. Although many universities already have financial aids for students, I believe those are not enough. If government can help students with paying their fees, many talents who have poor family condition will have chances to get higher education courses.

Having scholarships from government, however, can draw some pressures on their economic source. Government not only have to deal with education problems, but many other aspects such as business and economic issues. It is a dilemma situation for them. As far as I concerned, I believe some people do not deserve to have these aids from government, it is necessary to limit the number of people who can have these supports, so universities can move out unsuitable students.

In conclusion, some talents can be found if government can pay the costs of running universities. Some actions, however, are essential to prevent students who do not deserve for having it.

The first, I really appreciate that you've spent time to read my writing task 2. I'd be really grateful, if you can leave a comment that shows:

  • What are my good points? (Eg: main Idea, supporting details, vocabulary variety, ...)
  • Where I need to improve? (Eg: introduction, conclusion, add more transition word, accuracy, ...)
  • Which band do I get with this achievement? ( 5.5, 6.0, ... )

Once again, I'm really thankful for what you've done and what you're going to do.
Thanks from NMD.
