Topic: Some children can learn more efficiently by watching TV. Therefore, children should watch TV regularly both at school and at home. Do you agree or disagree?

It is true that young people can broaden their knowledge and learn many important skills via watching television. I completely agree that children should be allowed to watch TV frequently.

There are some reasons why TV programmes are useful for the young people. First, it is obvious that watching TV is more interesting and engaging for children than books alone. For example, a lively video of a growing tree turns out to be more attractive and easier to understand that what is described in papers. Second, children can also learn important soft skills through watching TV. They would be able to give a good presentation by imitating MC and even get confident when being in front of loads of people. All vital skills are needed to be a successful person.

Apart from the practical benefits expressed above, I believe that TV is a great unlimited source of information, especially for young people. They could learn about cultural diversity all over the world or acknowledge of wild animals’ habitat. Moreover, when parents watch TV together with their sons and daughters, it helps to narrow the generation gap between every family members. This is no doubt the best way to understand more about children, know what they are excited about and perhaps share common interests among family.

In conclusion, I believe that TV should be encouraged as a method of education not only in school but also at home as well so that children could have the chance to be aware of the whole world.
