Task 2 : To some people studying the past has little value in the modern world. Why don’t you think it is important to do so? What will be the effect if children are not taught history.

Because of hectic life, nowadays, people seem to ignore the beauty of history as well as its considerable importance to the present time. In this essay, I will present not only my opinion that how vital the history is but also influence on children who grow up without the historical knowledge

We are able not to deny the role of the past to the recent life. Especially, learning about the conflicts in the past can teach us how to avoid them in future. And so, there are much fewer disputes which would be started from sensitive issues which involves in human, discrimination, gender equality … than the past. According to experiences in the previous generation, we completely understand how painful inhabitants have to suffer, how decrease the countries’ economy have to cope with after serious controversies. This would be lead to the people living in the peaceful world today should treasure what you they have in lieu of starting other unreasonable arguments

Lacking of perception of origin, native land… is possible for children who are not taught about history. As a result, they would always confuse what happened before they had been born, why our country named like today not another one else. A good idea would be to inspire children to learn history as the hobby, to make them spontaneously enjoy it, for example, acting a play basing on story, making a poster about local history or going to a local archaeological site and so on… By doing this, historical lessons would not be students’ obsession so far, instead, it increases motivation on do discovery

History is one of the best methods to tell to the next generation how their ancestors lived, to explain briefly through stories about inventions, revolutions or even wars, painfulness. All of this contributes on bringing up the kids and also supporting them during the learning period. History is series of stories which draws how we were, we have to preserve and pass by tradition from one generation to another
