Task 2: The death penalty is a cruel and inhumane form of punishment and must be banned in every country. Do you agree or disagree?

In the day and age, capital punishments are getting more prevalent in so many nations. Some people argue that this penalty should be banned because of its cruelty and inhumanity, whilts others support the maintenance of the death sentence. In my opinion, I prefer the latter and I will prove it clear through this essay.

First and foremost, execution will probably be sentenced for serious criminals, such as terrorists, murderers or drug dealers who may kill a great deal of innocent people. The survive of these criminals may be the threat of society due to their unnormal mentality and dangerous behavior. Even if they are sentenced in prison for the rest of their life, they may get out of the jail easily because of their “intelligence” and “weath”. Moreover, the capital punishment will possibly help victim’s families reduce pain. The death of members in families seem to be the most painful suffering for others. Innocent people are murdered, however, the verdict of the court is for criminals, who commit a crime. Hence, there might be no unfair between victims and killers.

On the other hand, a great deal of citizens think that the death penalty may be rejected because of its expensive cost and negative influence of communites. Admittedly, authorities expenditure for execution are higher than other punishments. Nonetheless, the payment of the criminals for victim’s family and society may be comprehensive before they die.

To sum up, in spite of the cruelty and inhumanity of death sentences, I highly recommend to maintain this punishment. Due to the powerful of the government, criminals should be scared and becareful with anything they will do.
